Welcome to our first competition! You must draw, in the tile maker, a Poke Ball. Make it 3D (if you can).
-It must be on a 64 by 64 tile
-Make it on whichever account you want: yours or the teams.
-The due date is this Saturday!
The prize will be a special badge. We will also probably do game competitions, if anyone's up for it. =)
You have almost 1 week. Post your picture here!
(also, it can be other types: master ball, ultra ball, etc.)

Darned 404 error...got rid of my poke-ball. :'( It took me about 1 hr. too.

May I ask how long you worked on that?

There are 2 done so far (as far as I can tell): maelstrom's ultra ball and billk's repeat ball (mine got detroyed :'( )
Looking pretty good so far though. I'm glad everyone wanted to enter.

Because eventually you'll get better, guys, it just take practice. :)
And I'll teach you a few simple rules of shading...you need only ask.

Jacob is right. When I started I had no idea of shading, but now I have learned a lot more about shades and textures. Even the spheres I made were just to practice. Most of what I learned, I learned when I was working in Teams. So use your chance while you still have it.

Seriously though, all of them were very good. Siki, you did a great job too. :)
Mael, the only problem with yours was that it was on a 32 by 32 tile. Looked good, tthough. You know how to anti-alias?
Billk, for a first time, you did really good. The only thing I'd suggest is make it more round. Good job, though! Blackout, you did good also. It looked really good with the glare.

PS: Is anti-aliasing putting shadows of the color around it? if so, yes.
